The Secretary of State Rural and Water Affairs visits the recently completed Wastewater Treatment Plant of Menàrguens and Térmens in Lleida.
This action that benefits to a population upper to 4,200 people, is part of the Plan de Saneamiento de Aguas Residuales Urbanas, PSARU 2002, in the Ebro Basin, where the MARM through Acuamed, takes entrusted works valued in 21.7 million euros.

The Secretary of State Rural and Water Affairs, presents the bid for the first seven framed works of the Plan de Restitución Territorial for the decontamination of the reservoir of Flix (Tarragona).
These early works included in the Plan, with a total amount of 5 million euro, and developed jointly by the MARM through Acuamed, and the Departament de Medi Ambient i Habitatge of the Government of Catalonia.

The MARM completes flood prevention works in the Barranco de Benimodo (Valencia), whose investment amounts to 32.5 million euros.
The Managing Director for Water of the MARM has visited today these works to ensure safety from the danger of flooding to 35,000 inhabitants from Carlet, Benimodo, and Guadassuar L'Alcudia, in the region of Ribera Alta.
