The Spanish Government authorises the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs to increase Acuamed's capital
This decision taken in a Council of Ministers may be conducted by the arrangement to modify the Direct Management agreement accorded between the State's General Administration and the State Society Aguas de las Cuencas Mediterráneas, S.A, ACUAMED.

Spain's Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs tenders infrastructures for irrigation with sewage waters from the La Víbora residual water treatment plant in Mijas and Marbella (Málaga) for an amount of 13,5 million Euros.
This infrastructure will generate an alternative resource source that will help reduce water consumption from the La Concepción reservoir and the area's aquifers.
