The action aims to improve the water quality of the Sueca ditches by intercepting waste water discharges and disconnecting them from the network of ditches. This way, the effluent generated is reused efficiently by the waste water treatment plant of Sueca by its discharge into the Major ditch, and thus increase the susceptible irrigated area and change the crop types to be irrigated.

The aim of this action is to provide new water resources from the reuse of effluent from the water treatment plant of Pinedo for its use in irrigation of agricultural crops and as additional water to the Albufera of Valencia, with appropriate quality for each use. The action consists of a pipeline infrastructure that enables connection from waste water treatment plant to the irrigation areas, and a green filter for the reduction of nutrients, with their associated pipeline, for renaturalisation of the waters that cannot be used in irrigation and supply them to the Albufera.

The regions of Vinalopó and Alicantí in the province of Alicante, have had major water shortages for years. This deficit is being covered by the overexploitation of aquifers, several of them have already reached totally unsustainable levels. In coastal regions, where demand is mostly urban, the situation can be successfully resolved by the desalination of seawater, but in the interior regions, where demand is mainly agrarian and stands at quite high levels above sea level, the contribution of resources from other basins is necessary.

The purpose of the action is to cover part of the water deficit that is expected in the short to medium term as a result of population growth and industrial expansion, of the town of Sagunto and the rest of the district of Camp de Morvedre. To achieve this goal a new desalination plant has been designed with a production capacity of 22,900 m3/day, which is used for domestic and industrial use. The plant is located next to the new combined cycle power plant of the company Unión Fenosa Generación in the port of Sagunto.

En relacion con la licitacion del expediente ADO 08/11 SERVICIO DE INGENIERIA PARA LA ASISTENCIA TECNICA A LA DIRECCION DE LAS OBRAS INCLUIDAS EN LA ACTUACION URGENTE 3.3.E CORRESPONDIENTES AL PROYECTO CONSTRUCTIVO DE ACONDICIONAMIENTO DEL BARRANCO MANDOR, TT.MM. DE L´ELIANA Y RIBA-ROJA DEL TURIA (VALENCIA) Se comunica que en el Consejo de administracion de Acuamed celebrado el pasado dia 17 de enero de 2013, se acordo la renuncia a dicha contratacion atendiendo a razones de interes publico.

Esta actuación consiste en el Mantenimiento y Explotación de las instalaciones ya construidas que conectan el Canal Júcar-Turia con la ciudad de Sagunto. Su finalidad consiste en optimizar el aprovechamiento del agua y su correcta explotación

ESTADO DE LA ACTUACIÓN:

El objetivo perseguido con esta actuación es la prevención del desbordamiento incontrolado del Barranco de Benimodo en un tramo de 7 km de longitud comprendido entre el punto de unión de éste con el Barranco de la Parra y la Autovía A-7, de forma que se alcance un adecuado nivel de protección ante el riesgo de avenidas en las poblaciones colindantes de Carlet, Benimodo, L’Alcudia, Guadassuar y Massalaves, evitando de este modo las afecciones económicas y sociales que dichas inundaciones provocan.

ESTADO DE LA ACTUACIÓN:
Obra recibida y entregada.

Las obras se concentran en el término municipal de Gandía dentro de la delimitación del denominado "Paisaje Protegido del Serpis". Se contemplan diferentes actuaciones como son los muros de protección, la creación de cauce de aguas bajas, actuaciones en el puente viejo de Oliva, un bombeo para recircular agua, y tratamientos de limpieza y de revegetación así como acondicionamiento de caminos.

ESTADO DE LA ACTUACIÓN:
Obras recibidas y constatadas.

El objetivo perseguido por la actuación es aumentar el nivel de protección frente a las avenidas en la cuenca media del río Serpis. Para lograrlo se contempla la construcción de un azud en el municipio de Terrateig, la construcción de defensas frente a erosiones e inundaciones en varios puntos de toda la cuenca y el desvío de una parte del caudal del barranco de Piles al río Serpis, todo ello complementado con medidas de adecuación ambiental asociadas a las obras incluidas en la actuación.

El objeto de la actuación es la protección frente a avenidas de la cuenca de la rambla Gallinera y del barranco Alfadalí, desarrollando lo previsto en el Plan Director de Defensa contra las Avenidas en la Comarca de La Safor.
