Pi collector

Description of worksState:

The urban centre of Pi, located in the province of Lleida, is located two miles south of the town of Bellver de Cerdanya and is an annex to it. This town has no sanitation system, dumping sewage generated in the Pi stream, which drains into the river Segre. The action involves the construction of a collector to send the waste water generated in the urban centre of Pi to the waste water treatment plant at Bellver, thus avoiding direct discharge to the Pi.

WWTP and collectors of Sant Jaume de Enveja (Tarragona)

Description of worksState:

The town of Sant Jaume d'Enveja, in the province of Tarragona, does not currently have a system of for waste water treatment, carrying out the discharge of waste water directly to the River Ebro. Waste water discharges are characterised by being greatly diluted in the summer months by mixing the sewage with the surplus irrigation from rice fields, while in the winter months such dilution does not occur. The action involves the construction of a new waste water treatment plant which can handle an average flow of 2,426 m3/day and construction of auxiliary pipelines.

WWTP and collectors of Termens and Menarguens (Lleida)

Description of worksState:

The town centre of Térmens, in the province of Lleida, currently has a sewer network that is not in use and a sanitation infrastructure to make contributions to irrigation water, which discharges with no treatment directly to the river Segre. Furthermore the town of Menarguens near to Térmens, currently has a collector that collects waste water from the town to which various irrigation branches are incorporated, and as in the case above, the water is discharged into the river Segre without any treatment .

INSTALLATIONS:

Uldemolins WWTP (Tarragona)

Description of worksState:

The town Ulldemolins, in the province of Tarragona, does not have any waste water treatment system, currently discharging them through two points to the river Montsant and a third point in the Olla canyon. The action involves the construction of a waste water treatment plant capable of treating current discharges current and those planned in the future.

INSTALLATIONS:

Horta de Sant Joan WWTP (Tarragona)

Description of worksState:

The town of Horta de Sant Joan, in the province of Tarragona, does not have waste water treatment system, since the waste water treatment plant is out of service, causing dumping of untreated discharges into ravines of Vilans and Les Vinyasses, tributaries of the river Algars. The action involves the construction of a new waste water treatment plant capable of treating an average flow of 756 m3/day of waste water and construction of collectors required to address dumping in the ravines indicated above.

INSTALLATIONS:

Reuse of purified waste water of Albufera Sur (Valencia)

Description of worksState:

This activity has a dual purpose. On the one hand, it aims to achieve an efficient reuse of effluent from the waste water treatment plant of Albufera Sur for irrigation, and secondly, to improve the quantity and quality of water contributions to Lake Albufera. To achieve this goal a tertiary treatment is implemented at the plant and a green filter that improves the quality of effluents intended for lake Albufera.

INSTALLATIONS:

Reuse of purified waste water in the Sueca WWTP

Description of worksState:

The action aims to improve the water quality of the Sueca ditches by intercepting waste water discharges and disconnecting them from the network of ditches. This way, the effluent generated is reused efficiently by the waste water treatment plant of Sueca by its discharge into the Major ditch, and thus increase the susceptible irrigated area and change the crop types to be irrigated.

INSTALLATIONS:

Completion of reuse of waste water in Pinedo (Valencia)

Description of worksState:

The aim of this action is to provide new water resources from the reuse of effluent from the water treatment plant of Pinedo for its use in irrigation of agricultural crops and as additional water to the Albufera of Valencia, with appropriate quality for each use. The action consists of a pipeline infrastructure that enables connection from waste water treatment plant to the irrigation areas, and a green filter for the reduction of nutrients, with their associated pipeline, for renaturalisation of the waters that cannot be used in irrigation and supply them to the Albufera.

INSTALLATIONS:

Mijas and Manilva tertiary WWTPs

Description of worksState:

The aim of the action is to incorporate the waste water treatment plants of Cala Mijas and Manilva to the tertiary treatments needed to regenerate the purified water, so that water quality being supplied to the golf courses and green areas is improved. The action provides for the distribution of reclaimed water to the golf courses in line with Article 4 of Decree 240/2005 of 2 November, of the Junta de Andalucía, which governs the exceptional measures during drought in various municipalities in Málaga, including those of the western Costa del Sol.

Description of worksState:

The purpose of the action involves the upgrading of existing treatment systems in purification plants of Estepona and Marbella, to obtain a quality product that allows water reuse for irrigation of golf courses
