The aim of this action is to provide new water resources from the reuse of effluent from the water treatment plant of Pinedo for its use in irrigation of agricultural crops and as additional water to the Albufera of Valencia, with appropriate quality for each use. The action consists of a pipeline infrastructure that enables connection from waste water treatment plant to the irrigation areas, and a green filter for the reduction of nutrients, with their associated pipeline, for renaturalisation of the waters that cannot be used in irrigation and supply them to the Albufera.

The regions of Vinalopó and Alicantí in the province of Alicante, have had major water shortages for years. This deficit is being covered by the overexploitation of aquifers, several of them have already reached totally unsustainable levels. In coastal regions, where demand is mostly urban, the situation can be successfully resolved by the desalination of seawater, but in the interior regions, where demand is mainly agrarian and stands at quite high levels above sea level, the contribution of resources from other basins is necessary.

This action is intended to prevent personal and material damage that could be caused by the bursting of the river Mula's banks as it passes through Albudeite. The canalization, which has a section of 1300 metres and can drain up to 980 cubic meters per second (m3 / s), is able to accommodate flow rates of up to 3 m3 / s. These works were included in the control plan against floods of the Segura Basin RDL 4/1987.

La Rambla de San Jerónimo runs along the foot and bordering the hillock on which the castle of Vera Cruz and its old town is located, so it is visible from many unique places in the city. It also constitutes a urban barrier to growth through its outline around the north and east of the city, since it is a wide and deep ravine. With this conditioning action of the banks and channel, it aims to integrate the rambla within the urban sector and rehabilitate the area that is progressively becoming degraded.

The action includes the construction of a circular reinforced concrete underground pipeline of between 1.50 and 1.20 m in diameter, extending from the WWTP of Murcia-East to Azarbe Mayor, running through the area of ​​Rincón de San Antón, the hamlet of Llano de Brujas and the site of Cabecicos until reaching Azarbe. With these actions the Town Council of Murcia intends to help farmers from Azarbe Mayor to have treated water from the waste water treatment plant of Rincón de San Antón to irrigate their crops

The works planned under this action can improve safety against floods in the link of the final section of this channel with the rambla Benipila. The Rambla de Canteras, in its final stretch, runs through an urban area of Cartagena and empties into the Rambla de Benipila.

The action involves extending the existing canalization in the rambla Benipila whilst it passes through the town of Cartagena for about 3 km, with the aim of reducing the risk of flooding in an area historically affected by floods. These works were included in the control plan against floods of the Segura Basin RDL 4/1987.

The execution of a service road parallel to the rambla Benipila has also been planned.

Con la presente actuación se pretende integrar el cauce del Segura a su paso por la localidad de Archena dentro del entorno urbano, posibilitando el uso recreativo del espacio fluvial. La actuación incluye la construcción de un paseo sobre la mota del río Segura, en la margen derecha a lo largo de unos 2 km que se inicia a la altura del azud de Iberdrola y termina en las inmediaciones de la actual EDAR de Archena.
